Before You Start
The Pairing Code Enrollment method enables corporate-owned Macs to connect directly to Trio for full management and policy control. This method enforces complete device visibility, policy automation, and remote lock/wipe capability while pairing the Mac securely to the organization.
Once enrolled, the device automatically receives compliance configurations, security profiles, and software deployments as defined in Trio.

Step 1: Install the Trio Agent
Download the Trio.pkg installer from your admin-provided link.
Double-click the file and select Install.
Click Open if macOS prompts for confirmation.
Step 2: Start Enrollment
Once installation completes, the Welcome to Trio window appears.
Click Continue Enrolling Device to begin the setup.
Step 3: Select Device Ownership
When prompted, select Company Owned Device (COD).
This ensures the device receives full management privileges and policy enforcement.
Step 4: Enter Pairing Code
Enter your organization name from the dropdown menu.
Input the six-digit pairing code provided by your IT admin.
Click Confirm & Next to proceed with enrollment.
Step 5: Install the MDM Profile
After the pairing process, open System Settings on your Mac.
Go to General → Device Management.
Select the downloaded Trio MDM Profile.
Click Install and confirm when prompted.
Wait until the process completes.
Next Steps
Immediate actions:
Verify that your device appears under Fleet → Enrollment → Recent Enrollments in Trio.
Check that assigned policies and apps are automatically installed.
