Admin access on the target device
Before You Start
Pairing Code Enrollment is designed for corporate-owned Windows devices that need complete policy enforcement and remote management capabilities. This method securely connects the device to Trio’s MDM or RMM system using a one-time pairing code generated in the admin panel.
Once enrolled, the device will automatically receive assigned apps, security profiles, and compliance policies, ensuring it aligns with your organization’s management standards.

Step 1: Launch the Trio Agent
Open the Trio Agent after installation.
On the Welcome to Trio screen, click Start Enrollment.
The setup wizard will begin preparing your device for enrollment.
Step 2: Download and Install the Agent
If not already installed, download the Trio Agent from the link provided by your IT admin.
The installer will automatically download and install the required components.
Once installation is complete, click OK to proceed.
Step 3: Select Enrollment Type
Choose between Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) depending on your organization’s setup.
MDM automatically signs in with the company’s Microsoft account.
RMM provides extended monitoring and automation capabilities.
Click the option provided by your IT admin to continue.
Step 4: Enroll Device
Enter your organization name in the provided field.
Depending on your admin’s setup, use one of the following methods:
Pairing Code: Enter the six-digit pairing code from the Trio panel.
Credentials: Enter your work email and password provided by your IT admin.
Click Confirm & Next to complete enrollment.
Next Steps
Immediate actions:
Verify that your device appears in Fleet → Enrollment → Recent Enrollments.
Check that assigned policies, security profiles, and applications are applied automatically.
