Welcome to the Trio Education "Sign-up" guide. To access and apply the features to classes, the school administration needs to sign up and create an account on Trio Education.

Remember, after you sign up and create your account, the Trio team must activate your free trial. Make sure you contact the sales team to get contract specifications.

Sign-up and Operation Flow on Trio Education
To fully operate and make the most of Trio Education, follow these steps:
Sign-Up: Provide school information, such as name, address, contact info, geofence, and school hours.
Trial Access: The trial account will be activated for a limited number of devices, allowing the school to set up and prepare the panel.
Create a Class: The admin needs to create classes to organize students and devices.
Pair Device(s): Students should install the agent app so the admin can pair their devices (BYOD policy). School-owned devices (SOD) can also be paired with the panel.
Add Students: Add students to the panel so that devices can be assigned to them and they can be placed in classes.
Add Profiles: After completing the above steps, set up profiles (BYOD or SOD). Profiles contain rules and restrictions and can be applied to different classes.
Sign up
To use Trio Education, users need to sign up on the Trio Education web panel, accessible through https://education.trio.so/auth/signup. To sign up and create an account, users need a valid email address and a phone number to receive the verification code, follow-up emails, and reset links.
To set up an account, follow these steps:
Open the Trio Education website( https://education.trio.so/auth/signup )
Use a valid email address.
Enter a strong password.
Select your country.
Agree to the "Privacy Policy."
Click "Sign Up."
A verification code will be sent to the email address provided during the sign-up process. The code expires in 2 minutes, so it's best to check and use it within that time frame.
Next, the user needs to provide a PIN code for Trio Education.
Tip: The PIN code is used to:
Prevent unauthorized access to the panel.
Prevent students from deleting the agent app from their devices.
After setting the PIN code, the user will receive confirmation that the account has been successfully created. The process then continues with creating a school profile.

School Profile
Next, the user is asked to complete the school profile. This involves adding the school's basic information, including the name, grades, address, and any additional information about the school. Follow the steps below to complete the school profile:
Input the School's Name: Enter the school's name, which will be displayed on the school Dashboard.
Determine the School Grades: Select the grades covered by the school. Trio Education supports all school grades.
Upload the School Logo: Choose a file for the school logo. The file should not exceed 1 MB and must be in PNG or JPG format. This step is optional.
Then, Trio Education requires more detailed information about the school:
Select the Country: Choose the country where the school is located.
Type in the Province/State: Enter the province or state.
Type in the City: Enter the city.
Select the Time Zone: Choose the time zone for the state.
Add a Valid Phone Number: Provide a valid phone number.
Input the Exact School Address: Enter the precise address of the school.
Select the School Location on the Map: Pinpoint the school's location on the map provided.
Tip: When users click on the map, they can use the slider to set the school's "Geofence." The geofence allows school authorities to be notified of students' check-ins and check-outs. Students are considered "Present" when they enter the school fence and "Absent" when they are outside of it.
The school fence is also used to manage BYOD devices only within the school's fence to ensure a positive learning environment. The school will have no control over these devices outside of the fence.
Users can adjust the size of the school fence using the slider, which can cover an area of up to 10 km (about 6.21 mi).
Step three requires the user to determine the school's open days:
Use the Toggles: Select the days the school is open or closed.
Use the Clock: Set the opening hours for each day.
This step is necessary for the school rules to apply to BYOD devices and profiles. Detailed explanations of BYOD devices and profiles are provided later in this guide.
After completing the school profile, users will be directed to the payment page, where they can select a plan and pay for the product to begin using the panel.
