Before You Start
The BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) profile enrollment method is designed for users who use their personal iPhones or iPads for work. It separates work data and personal data while keeping corporate information protected within a managed workspace.
This lightweight configuration allows Trio to apply work policies, deliver apps, and enforce compliance only within the work profile, without monitoring or accessing personal apps, files, or settings.

Step 1: Open Device Management Settings
On the iOS or iPadOS device, open Settings.
Tap General, then scroll down and select VPN & Device Management.
Step 2: Sign in to Work or School Account
Under VPN & Device Management, tap Sign in to Work or School Account.
This will open the enrollment interface that connects to your organization’s management server.
Step 3: Authenticate with Apple Business Account
On the sign-in screen, enter the email address associated with your organization’s Apple Business Account.
Tap Continue, then authenticate as prompted.
The account will link to the organization’s management server, initiating profile configuration.
Step 4: Complete Profile Installation
After authentication, Trio automatically applies the BYOD configuration profile.
The setup completes within a few moments, and the work profile becomes active on the device.
Personal data remains untouched — only corporate apps and settings fall under management.
Next Steps
Immediate actions:
Verify that the device appears under Fleet → Enrollment → Recent Enrollments in Trio.
Confirm that company-specific apps and configurations are deployed.
