User onboarding in an MDM platform like Trio refers to setting up and granting users access to managed devices, applications, and organizational resources. It involves registering users into the MDM system, configuring user-specific settings, assigning roles or permissions, and ensuring the user is familiar with the policies and tools available on their device.
Adding Users
To add users to Trio, please follow the instructions I've included below.
Open the Trio Business panel from the menu on the left, and select "Users".
Click on "Add User" button to start adding the users. There are different methods to add the user.
Select the new onboard. Using this method, you can onboard users one by one.
Please fill in the information required for the user.
After providing the essential information, you need to provide the working information. Select the department or the group you want to add the user to. Add their job title and their contract type. Then, select their working model. You also need to choose the office they're working in (in case there are different offices. Finally, select the user reporter.
βAfter providing the working information, you need to assign devices and profiles to the user. The devices won't be on the list if you haven't enrolled any devices, which you can do later. You can also assign the accessories the user needs.
After that, you need to assign the applications they need for their working position. Add applications from the app library according to their OS.
After the onboarding process is done, you will see a summary of the user information.
