Before You Start
Silent Enrollment is designed for bulk provisioning of corporate Windows devices without requiring user interaction. It streamlines onboarding by running a PowerShell script that installs and registers each device automatically with Trio MDM.
This method is ideal for IT admins deploying devices in large quantities, ensuring zero-touch setup and immediate compliance enforcement once connected.
Step 1: Prepare the Enrollment Script
From the Trio MDM panel, generate or copy the enrollment PowerShell command.
Share the script with the target users or include it in your deployment workflow (e.g., Intune, SCCM, or USB batch setup).
Step 2: Run PowerShell as Administrator
On the target Windows device, search for PowerShell in the Start menu.
Right-click and select Run as Administrator to open an elevated command prompt.
Step 3: Execute the Enrollment Script
Paste the PowerShell command into the PowerShell window.
Press Enter to run the command.
The script will automatically download and install the Trio Agent.
Step 4: Wait for Completion
Once executed, the enrollment process starts automatically.
Two Command Prompt windows will appear as background processes while the agent installs and registers.
Wait until these processes complete — this may take a few minutes depending on network speed.
Note: If your device performance is slow, allow additional time for the sequence to finish. This is expected behavior.
Step 5: Verify Enrollment
Open the Trio dashboard → Fleet → Enrollment → Recent Enrollments.
Confirm that the enrolled Windows device appears under your organization’s list.
Assigned apps, policies, and configurations will deploy automatically.
Next Steps
Immediate actions:
Assign relevant security and compliance profiles to newly enrolled devices.
