Before You Start
The Kiosk Mode interface serves as the central hub for creating, managing, and deploying kiosk configurations across your device fleet. This interface provides both overview and detailed management capabilities for all your kiosk policies.
Kiosk configurations lock devices into specific operational modes, restricting user access to predetermined applications or functions. Proper management through this interface ensures consistent device behavior across your organization.
Familiarize yourself with your organizational requirements before creating or modifying kiosk configurations.

Navigate to Fleet > Kiosk Mode
Expected result: Kiosk Mode interface loads with current state
Interface States
Empty State (First Time Access):

Next Steps
Immediate actions:
Create your first kiosk configuration if starting with empty state
Review existing configurations for optimization opportunities
Plan device assignment strategy through AutoPilots
Related configurations:
Set up AutoPilots for automated kiosk deployment
Configure device enrollment policies to include kiosk assignments
Establish monitoring processes for kiosk deployment status
Advanced Options
Configuration Organization: Use descriptive naming conventions and detailed descriptions to maintain clear kiosk library organization as your deployment scales.
Assignment Strategy: Plan AutoPilot assignments to group devices with similar kiosk requirements, minimizing management overhead while maintaining flexibility.
Deletion Planning: Before deleting assigned kiosks, consider creating replacement configurations to minimize device downtime during transitions.
Troubleshooting
Empty State Persists:
Symptoms: Interface shows "No Kiosk settings yet" despite expecting configurations
Cause: Permissions issue or configurations not properly saved
Solution: Verify Fleet management permissions, refresh browser, or contact administrator
Assignment Numbers Inconsistent:
Symptoms: Assignment counts don't match expected device numbers
Cause: Offline devices, enrollment issues, or AutoPilot membership changes
Solution: Review device enrollment status, check AutoPilot memberships, verify network connectivity
Creation Button Unresponsive:
Symptoms: + Create button doesn't open creation interface
Cause: Browser issues, permissions, or system performance
Solution: Refresh page, clear browser cache, verify permissions, or try different browser
