Trio Dashboard Overview

When you log in to Trio, the Dashboard is the first interface you’ll encounter, designed to give IT administrators a high-level overview of their entire device ecosystem. It provides real-time visibility into different widgets like Users and Groups status change logs and other necessary information, helping you take immediate action on pending tasks.

Following the sign-up process, the dashboard highlights key onboarding steps to help you begin managing your environment effectively.

From there, you can explore all core features available in the left-hand sidebar:

  • Dashboard
    Get real-time insights into device status, compliance levels, and pending actions across your fleet.

  • Groups
    Organize devices and users into logical units (e.g., Tech, HR) for streamlined policy management and access control.

  • Users
    Add, onboard, and manage employee profiles with role-based access and group assignment functionality.

  • Devices
    Monitor, manage, and secure Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows devices through enrollment, policy enforcement, and status tracking.

  • Software
    Add and deploy applications across platforms from managed stores or custom APKs while enforcing installation policies.

  • Profiles (Security and Configuration)
    Configure and push security policies like password rules, encryption, screen lock, and system settings like Wi-Fi, VPN, and email.

  • Compliance
    Track adherence to organizational policies in real time. Trigger alerts and remediation for non-compliant devices automatically.

    Compliance includes the following items:

    ✔︎App Policies
    Whitelist or blacklist applications by OS to prevent unauthorized software usage and reduce risk exposure.

    ✔︎Patch Management
    Automate the detection, scheduling, and deployment of OS and app updates to minimize vulnerabilities.

    ✔︎Vulnerabilities
    Identify, assess, and respond to known CVEs across managed devices with real-time monitoring and risk scoring.

  • Location
    Track device locations and configure geofencing policies for security enforcement based on physical geography.

  • Activity
    View a log of all actions and events across the platform, including user activity and policy changes, with full traceability.

  • Integrations
    Connect with Identity Providers, security tools, and ticketing platforms to enhance access control and IT workflows.

  • Settings
    Configure organization-wide settings, including MDM setup, security controls, billing, and notification preferences.

Widgets

You can customize the Trio Dashboard by adding widgets that surface the data most relevant to your role. By clicking the "Add Widget" button, you'll access a curated list of real-time data modules provided by Trio.

Custom widgets offer several key advantages:

  • Operational Efficiency: View critical metrics at a glance without navigating multiple tabs

  • Role-Based Relevance: Tailor your dashboard to highlight the KPIs and alerts that matter to your IT or security responsibilities
