On Trio Business, users can enroll a variety of devices to monitor and manage, as well as assign different profiles and policies to them.
To enroll the Android devices, please follow the instructions below.
Device Enrollment on Trio – Android
Open the Trio Business panel and from the menu on the left, click the “Devices” tab.
There is a blank page with filters on the different operating systems. You can enroll in Android, iOS, iPad, macOS, and Windows devices. Select "Android."
To add a new device, please click on “Add New Device” on the top right of the page.
Android - Regular Enrollment
To enroll in the Android device, follow the instructions below:
Download the Android agent, using the download link or the QR code on the device you want to enroll.
To complete the installation, you need to enable installation from the Unknown Sources on your Android device.
After installing the Trio agent, you need to pair it with the panel. You can do it by using a pairing code that needs to be input into the app and scanning the QR code using the Android device camera.
After the initial pairing, you need to grant a series of permissions on the Android device.
After finalizing the setup, you can start managing the Android device.
Android - Device Owner
To set the Device Owner on Android enrollment, please follow the instructions below.
Enable USB debugging.
Download Trio Connect. You need to install this app on a Windows or Linux device.
Follow the procedure as explained on the panel.
Set the device owner.
Enter the pairing code.
Start managing the Android devices.
