Learn how to view the location history and live location for the devices.

To review the device's live location and review the location history for each one of the devices, please follow the steps below.

Why do I need to view the device location information?
To secure the devices physically and ensure security, and also to locate the stolen or missing devices.

1. Open the Trio panel and click on the location services tab from the left side menu.

2. Click on the Last Location tab.

3. You will see the list of the following items:

  • Added devices

  • Status (Inside or outside the fence)

  • Online/offline

  • User

  • Last location

  • operating system

4. You can also see a full list of all the assigned devices to the fence and check their activity.

5. To review the live location and the location history for each of the devices, click on a device. You will see detailed information from the device. You can also see whether the device is being used (it's online) or it's idle (offline) - there is a color indicator to show active/inactive status.

There are additional sets of information IT admins can see when they select a particular device:

  • Details

  • Security

  • Remote maintenance

  • Users

  • Profiles

  • Applications

  • Location

  • Notes

  • Log Activity

6. To review the location history, you can click on the β€œLocation History” button on the specific device you want to monitor and see the latest locations.

Locations the device has been are numbered and connected, which shows the time and the location order the device has been there.

Hint: Click on the numbers to see the exact time the device has been there.
