Before You Start
Access levels control what features and functions different administrators can use within your Trio organization. These predefined permission sets ensure users only have access to the tools they need for their specific responsibilities, improving security and preventing accidental changes to critical settings.
What Are Access Levels?
Access levels define granular permissions for different types of administrators in your organization. Each access level is designed for specific job functions and responsibilities, from full organizational control to specialized tasks like billing management or application deployment.
Owner Access Level provides complete control over all platform features, including user management, access levels, billing, and security configurations. Auditor Access Level allows user and device management with limited access to billing and security features, ideal for compliance monitoring. Standard Access Level offers platform-wide access while excluding sensitive areas like access level management, billing, and security controls.
Specialized Access Levels include App Manager for application deployment and updates, Human Resource for user lifecycle management and device oversight, Help Desk for broad support capabilities excluding critical system changes, Billing Admin for financial management with read-only device access, and View-Only Admin providing complete visibility without modification permissions.
User Management allows administrators to view user details, manage account states (Active/Suspended), track login activity, and monitor creation dates. The system supports filtering and searching across user databases to efficiently manage large organizations.
Next Steps
Immediate actions: Review current administrator access levels, assign appropriate permissions based on job functions, audit user access regularly, document access level assignments
Troubleshooting
Cannot assign access levels - Verify you have Owner permissions to modify administrator access
User missing expected features - Check assigned access level matches required permissions for their responsibilities
Access level changes not taking effect - Log out and back in for permission updates to apply
Cannot view user management options - Ensure your access level includes user administration capabilities
Billing features unavailable - Confirm user has Billing Admin or Owner access level assigned
Notes
Access level assignments should align with job responsibilities and principle of least privilege. Regular access reviews ensure permissions remain appropriate as organizational needs change.
