Before You Start
Manage your Trio Education subscription, device limits, and billing preferences through the billing console. Monitor your current plan status, add more devices as your school grows, or make changes to your subscription.
Your billing cycle and device limits determine system capabilities. Plan changes take effect based on your subscription type and billing cycle. Annual plans offer cost savings but require longer commitment periods.
Important: Subscription cancellations remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, ensuring uninterrupted service while you transition.
Step 1: Access Billing Management
Navigate to Settings from the main menu
Click the Billing tab
Review current subscription details:
Plan type and billing frequency
Device limit and usage
Subscription timeline and renewal date
Expected result: Current billing information displays with available management options
Step 2: Increase Device Limit
Click Increase devices under your current plan
Expected result: Device upgrade modal opens
Configure Additional Devices
Enter the number of devices to add in How many device do you want to add? field
Review updated totals:
Total Devices: Current limit + additional devices
Total Price: Updated subscription cost
Verify plan type remains consistent (Advanced Annual)
Click Continue to proceed with upgrade
Expected result: Device limit increase processes and billing updates
Cost Calculation: Additional devices are prorated based on your current billing cycle and remaining subscription time.
Step 3: Upgrade Subscription Plan
Click Upgrade Plan button
Expected result: Plan upgrade options display
Select New Plan
Review available plan tiers and features
Compare device limits and pricing
Select desired plan upgrade
Confirm billing changes and effective date
Expected result: Plan upgrade processes with updated features and limits
Step 4: Cancel Subscription
Click Cancel plan button
Expected result: Subscription cancellation dialog opens
Confirm Cancellation
Review cancellation warning message:
Payment continues until end of current subscription cycle
Access to data and features maintained until cycle end
Access denied after subscription expires
Check I have read the above information. I agree to cancel my subscription
Choose cancellation action:
Cancel subscription: Proceed with cancellation
Discard: Return to billing page without changes
Expected result: Subscription marked for cancellation at cycle end
Important: Cancellation is final and cannot be undone. Your data and student device management will stop working when the subscription expires.

Cause: Checkbox not selected or form validation issues
Solution: Ensure cancellation acknowledgment checkbox is checked
Billing timeline showing incorrect dates:
Symptoms: Subscription dates don't match expectations
Cause: Timezone differences or billing cycle confusion
Solution: Verify account timezone settings and billing cycle start dates
Payment failed during upgrade:
Symptoms: Upgrade process stops with payment error
Cause: Insufficient funds, expired card, or payment processing issues
Solution: Update payment method and retry upgrade process
