This article helps you set up your Google Cloud Console. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Step 1: Configure Self-managed Android Enterprise Setting on TRIO Panel
Log in to the TRIO panel.
Click on Settings in the Slide Menu.
Click on MDM Setup.
Click on the Google tab.
Under Self MDM Configuration, click on the Add Config button.
Step 2: Navigate to Google Cloud Console
Go to Google Cloud Console and sign in with your Google account.
Step 3: Create a Project
Click on the Select a Project dropdown.
Click New Project.
Enter a Project Name.
Click Create.
Step 4: Create a Service Account
Go to Service Accounts.
4.1 Create a Service Account
Select your project.
Click Create Service Account.
Under Service Account Details:
Enter a Service Account Name.
The Service Account ID will be generated automatically.
(Optional) Enter a Service Account Description.
Click CREATE AND CONTINUE.
Click Done.
4.2 Generate Service Account Key
On the Service Accounts page, click Actions next to your created account.
Select Manage Keys.
Click ADD KEY > Create new key.
In the pop-up:
Select JSON.
Click CREATE.
A pop-up appears: Private key saved to your computer. Click CLOSE.
Open the downloaded JSON file using a text or code editor.
Copy the content and paste it into the Service Account input field in the TRIO panel.
Step 5: Create OAuth Details
Go to OAuth Setup.
5.1 OAuth Setup Process
On the OAuth Overview page, click on GET STARTED.
Under App Information:
Enter the App Name.
Select the Support Email.
Under Audience:
Select External and click Next.
Under Contact Information:
Enter the same email used for the project creation.
Click Next.
Accept the terms:
Check the I agree to the Google API Services: User Data Policy checkbox.
Click Create.
5.2 Create OAuth Client
On the OAuth Overview page, click Create OAuth Client.
Select Application Type as Web Application.
(Optional) Edit the Web App Name.
Under Authorized Redirect URIs:
Click Create.
On the OAuth 2.0 Client IDs page:
Click the Download icon.
In the pop-up, click Download JSON.
Open the downloaded JSON file using a text or code editor.
Copy the content and paste it into the Google Web OAuth input field in the TRIO panel.
Step 6: Enable Google Play EMM API
Go to Google Cloud Console.
Ensure the newly created project is selected.
Click on API & Services under Quick Access.
Click on ENABLE API AND SERVICES.
Search for Google Play EMM API.
Click on Google Play EMM API from the search results.
Click Enable.
The page will update, and the status will be displayed as Enabled.
Step 7: Enable Android Management API
Go to Google Cloud Console.
Ensure the newly created project is selected.
Click on API & Services under Quick Access.
Click on ENABLE API AND SERVICES.
Search for Android Management API.
Click on Android Management API from the search results.
Click Enable.
The page will update, and the status will be displayed as Enabled.
Step 8: Confirm Setup
Select Agree and consent to having the above details stored in the Trio database.
Click on Confirm button.
