The Software Patch List in Trio MDM helps you track, assess, and act on app-level vulnerabilities across your managed devices. It offers real-time visibility into patch status, CVEs, severity levels, and update history.
To access it, navigate to:
βSecurity > Patch Management > Software Patch
Overview of the Patch Table
Each row in the table represents a patched application and includes:
App Name & Version: Identifies the software and the version detected on devices.
CVE Count: Lists known vulnerabilities (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) associated with that version. Clickable for details.
Severity: Displays categorized threat levels (e.g., Critical, Low) with visual tags.
Devices: Shows how many devices are affected by this patch status.

Open
: Patch pendingPatching

Action:
Install All
: Deploy patch to all affected devicesRetry
: Re-attempt failed installationsPatched
: Confirmation for completed updates
Last Update: Date the patch status was last refreshed.
Filtering and Sorting
Use the Filter and Sort by options to narrow down the list by:
CVE severity
App name
Patch status
Device impact
Actions Menu
Click the Actions button to perform bulk operations:
Install all: Apply available patches to all listed apps and devices.
Upload patch: Manually upload a patch file for custom deployments.
View patch details: Access in-depth information about a specific patch, including changelog, file integrity data, and device-level deployment status.
Best Practices
Prioritize apps with Critical CVEs to reduce exposure risk.
Use the Retry option to quickly recover from failed patch attempts.
Regularly monitor the Last Update column to verify patch freshness.
