This guide explains the Device Information panel for legacy iOS devices (iOS 4 to iOS 16) in the Trio platform. It is intended for IT teams managing iPhones with older operating systems to ensure full visibility and policy enforcement.
π§ Accessing Device Information
Go to Devices in the left-side menu.
Select an iOS device running version β€ iOS 16 (e.g., "Marenβs iPhone").
You'll enter the Device Information tab with full details.

User: Currently assigned user (optional).
User Group: Logical grouping under your organization (e.g., Design Heros).
Blueprint: Policy or configuration profile assigned.
Supervised: Indicates Apple Supervision status.
DEP Assigned: Whether enrolled via Apple's Device Enrollment Program.
Device Name: The user-defined name of the iPhone.

Name: iOS.
Version: Exact iOS version (e.g., 16.2.2).
Build: Build ID of the OS (e.g., 22A400).
Device Manufacturer: Always Apple.
Update: Manual update checker.
Update Status: Whether system updates are available.
Latest Version: Latest iOS build detected by MDM.
Release Date: iOS version release date.
Last Updated: Date of last system update.

Type: MDM.
Method: Enrollment method (Manual Enroll).
Managed: Whether the device is currently MDM-managed.
Device Ownership: e.g., COD (Company Owned Device).
First/Last Enrollment: Timestamps showing enrollment lifecycle.
Last User: Last user who completed the enrollment.
Agent Type: Agent platform (e.g., Trio MDM).
Agent Installed: Status of management agent.
Sync Status: Indicates if device is syncing with MDM.
Connection Method: e.g., Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
Install Date: Date the agent was installed.
Agent App Installed: Confirms the presence of the MDM agent app.
Last Check-in: Last communication with the MDM server.
Agent Version: Version of the installed MDM agent.

Serial Number: Apple hardware serial.

Hardware UUID: Unique hardware ID.
Wi-Fi MAC / Bluetooth MAC: Interface-level hardware addresses.
eSIM Installed: Shows if an embedded SIM is active.
Battery Level: Current battery charge percentage.

Total Controls: Compliance score out of total checks.
Certificate: Validity of MDM certificate.
Security Actions:
Remediate: Fix violations.
Exclude this device: Remove from security reporting temporarily.
Alerts in 7 Days: Number of triggered alerts recently.
CVEs Found: Known security vulnerabilities discovered.
Jailbreak Status: Detects jailbroken devices.
Activation Lock: Indicates if Find My iPhone lock is active.
Passcode Set / Screen Lock / Secure Boot: Security settings.
Update Apps in 7 Days: App updates pending.
