Vulnerabilities

Learn more about the Vulnerabilities management.

Updated over 3 months ago

In today’s threat landscape, timely detection and remediation of system weaknesses are critical to maintaining a secure IT environment. Vulnerability Management is the structured process of identifying, assessing, and addressing security flaws in devices, applications, and operating systems across an organization.

Trio’s integrated Vulnerability Management feature empowers IT teams to continuously monitor endpoints for known vulnerabilities, helping prevent exploits before they happen.

🔍 How It Works

Trio leverages threat intelligence and real-time scanning to identify Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) across managed devices. Once vulnerabilities are detected, administrators can:

  • Review severity levels and affected systems

  • Prioritize remediation based on risk and business impact

  • Track patching progress across device groups

  • Receive alerts for high-risk or unaddressed vulnerabilities

This automated visibility reduces manual workload and improves security posture at scale.

How to Review Vulnerabilities in Trio

  1. Open the Trio panel and navigate to Compliance from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Vulnerabilities from the Compliance section.

You will see a comprehensive list of vulnerabilities detected on enrolled devices. The data is organized based on the following criteria:

  • Vulnerability name

  • CVE ID

  • Score & severity level

  • Published date

  • Number of affected devices

  • Patch availability

  • Current status (e.g., open, in progress, resolved)

To begin resolving a specific vulnerability, click on the entry. You will then see the following details:

You can see the Details, Affected devices, and Affected software.

This view helps IT teams quickly assess risk exposure and prioritize remediation efforts across the device fleet.

✅ Key Benefits

  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify and address threats before they’re exploited

  • Regulatory Compliance: Meet industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS

  • Operational Efficiency: Centralize vulnerability data and streamline remediation

  • Integration with Patch Management: Coordinate fixes without leaving the Trio panel
